GREETING CARDS

These cards and fun and easy to make. You simple fold the front of the card back on itself when the card is closed and press along the fold line and hay ho, you have a z fold card. You can make these any size and people love to open them and watch the focal image fold out. You can decorate them any way you like and make them as simple or as ornate as you want them. I used papers from my drawer and an image from a magazine pack that I had in my stash.

These cards are so much fun to make, and very easy. Simply cut three shapes that are slightly different sizes, use a scrap of coloured paper to make the icing and you’ve got it. To make the icing, simply cut a narrow strip the same width as each layer of cake and cut a wavy line across one edge. Glue the icing pieces to the tops of the cake and assemble the cake in order, starting with the largest layer. You can add candles to the top if you like or small images of fruit on each layer, or you can keep it simple, like the example in the picture above.
