New bag charm

This is the first in a range of gift ideas that will feature on this site. The first is this candy bag or bag of sweets bag charm. These are quick and easy to make and they can be used as a bag charm or a key ring. They make great gifts or if you sell your products, they will look great on craft stalls and anywhere you sell your items. Bag charms are very popular at the time of writing, so if you are looking to expand your range of products or are looking for a special gift, these cute bag charms will be perfect. They are inexpensive to make and they don’t take much time, so you can easily make them in batches.

Teddy Bag Charm

This little chap can be made in a variety of colours. My current range of colours for this cute little bear are, yellow, red, blue and pale brown. As you can see, I have mine hanging from my handbag, but they can easily be clipped to any bag you like. They are definitely a talking point and I’ve lost count of the people who said, “aah, isn’t he cute,” when I was walking around town.

My Honey Scrunchie

This was the first scrunchie I made, and I’m very pleased with it. It looks great when used to secure a pony tail and the colour is fairly subtle. I will be adding bolder ones just as soon as they are made. See the pic below to view how this honey scrunchie looks when securing a pony tail. ⬇️

Honey Scrunchie in use

This is how the honey scrunchie looks when it’s keeping those lovely locks neat and tidy.

Floral Bow Clip

This is the first of a series of bow clips that I will be adding to this site. It is very pretty and looks striking when fastened into a pony tail. I loved making this product and I’m looking forward to making more in different colours, both plain and simple as well as bold and colourful.

Bow Scrunchie

This is one of the scrunchies I’m adding to my range of products. It looks very smart and keeps those luscious locks neat and tidy. They are fun and fairly easy to make if you want to have a go yourself.

Two different Designs

You can have a lot of fun when making or wearing scrunchies. With so many wonderful fabrics to choose from, you can make or have any colour or design of scrunchie you want. Here are two of my favourites. One is made with the rich colours of Autumn, and the other is a fun one with characters from the Winnie The Pooh stories. Great for children or adults or those who are still young at heart and want to have fun.

Knitted Scrunchie

These are so much fun to make and wear, and can be made in just about any colour you like. With so many wonderful wools on the market today, you can have or knit any colour and style of scrunchie you like. These are perfect for any knitters who like designing their own patterns. No shaping to worry about. Just works out the pattern for your scrunchie, choose your colour and away you go. For a general guide to sizes, I cast on 30 stitches and usually do thirty rows. You can make your pattern as simple or elaborate as you like. When you’re done, sew your piece in half lengthways, pull a piece of elastic through and pull to the desired size and sew up the gap. Simple.

Bow Clip

These are so much fun to make, and so elegant too. I will be adding a double bow shortly where there are two loops to make the bow. You can make these as large or as small as you like, and when you’re done, use a couple of beads of hot glue and attach them to a plain hair clip.

If you make your items to sell, these are a great addition to your list of products.

Hunny Scrunchie

This is the first scrunchie I made and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. I bought a themed pack of fabric pieces from The Works and started a themed collection with this scrunchie. There will be others in this themed collection, as well so bow clips. Another great addition to any range of products. Check out the photo below 👇 to see how this looks when it is used in your hair.

Scrunchie in Hair

This is how all of my scrunchies look when they are used to secure a pony tail. As well as looking neat, they hold the hair in place and have a fun image to add that playful look.

And now let’s check out the newest addition to my gift ideas range. 👇

Teddy Bag Charms

This Teddy charm was the first one that I designed. I clipped him to my handbag and now he goes everywhere with me. As he’s knitted, he can be made in just about any colour you want him. I’ve designed the pattern to be as easy as possible and he looks really cute hanging from any bag.

Gnome Charm

This adorable gnome charm is my favourite so far. I’ve designed the pattern so that the body, head and hat are knitted in one piece, with just the arms, bobble and beard to be added separately. Quick and fairly easy to knit. I made this one in an evening, and that included working out the pattern as I went, so you could probably get two done in one evening. Again he’s knitted, so you can make him in just about any colour combinations you like. I’ve kept mine simple by having the main parts all the same colour, but you could make the hat a diffident colour to the main body if you like. These are so much fun and make great gifts all year round. If you’d like the patterns to any of these, please do add a message in the comments, and I’ll add a new page and make the knitting patterns available for you to knit your own.

Phone Charm

This is the first in a new line that I am developing for this section of my website. My phone charm is made from beads and was fun to put together. I didn’t want to use my real phone to model these so I made a mock phone as a prop to display and photograph my new phone charms. I would be happy to make a mock phone for anyone who makes and/or sells phone charms. Just leave me a message in the comments and I’ll tell you how you can purchase these mock phones. It was fun and fairly easy to make, so if you want to make your own mock phone again, leave me a comment and I’ll recorded a video and post it on this section.
